HABITACIÓN EN LA CAVERNA

 Pieces made for Inédito Edición Limitada, as part of Design Week Mexico 2022.

Inspired by the neolithic use of caves, before sedentarization, when these natural spaces where used for connection with the mystical world, this piece seeks to be a portal for contemplation and tranquility in the quotidian landscapes of the city and the modern home.

It was made through the ancestral technique of coil-building in three separate parts that ensemble together in the shape of an arch. Inside resides a tubular led that allows for an even warm glow that comes from each of the caves of this piece.
